The basics (0.5-1h)
Overview of different anchor types and their working principles, followed by the main factors influencing correct anchor selection.
Post-installed anchor design
Static design in concrete (1.5h)
Overview of the regulatory framework and the design principles governing concrete anchors. A real-world example shows how to design and optimize anchors efficiently, followed by how to generate a specification using our PROFIS Engineering software.
Software module
PROFIS Engineering (0.5-1h)
Introduction to PROFIS Engineering anchor design software, explaining its integration into your existing software environment. Tips and tricks for getting the most out of the program.
Hands-on
Correct installation of post-installed fasteners (1-2h)
Practical training that shows you how adhesive and/or mechanical anchors are correctly installed. First-hand experience helps you to identify how installation errors can arise on the jobsite so you can prevent them in the specification stage.
Advanced baseplate design
Holistic design of anchor baseplates on concrete (1.5-2h)
Overview of the design principles for baseplates, stiffeners, welds and anchors. Afterwards, software application training shows you how to efficiently design safe baseplates with our new PROFIS Engineering baseplate software module.
Post-installed anchor design
Seismic design in concrete (0.5-1h)
Overview of different seismic design concepts for anchors, key characteristics of seismic anchors and a real design example solved with our PROFIS Engineering software.
Corrosion protection
Post-installed fasteners (0.5-1h)
Basics about corrosion of post-installed fasteners, an overview of protection methods and some real examples of typical anchor solutions for a specific corrosive environment.
