The Profis Anchor software (desktop version) will consider the behavior of the base plate as rigid by default setting to perform the anchor calculations. However the Profis Engineering Suite available online has the capability to take into account the flexible behavior of the base plate through Finite Element Analysis modelling. The user has an option to consider base plate as rigid or conduct a CBFEM (Component Based Finite Element Methodology) approach to show the effect of a flexible base plate on load distribution to anchors, stress and deformation.
