Pre-formed applications
Does pre-formed applications require certified installers like with traditional sealant applications?

Dear Omar,
Preformed Firestop Devices from Hilti are generally easy to install products, however if certified installers are compulsory or not entirely depends on the local regulation requirements, if the local regulation deems it mandatory for certified installers to install firestop products then this has to be followed
If local regulations do not deem certified installers necessary then the contractor can install preformed devices by themselves.
A product training from Hilti is always advised so that the contractor or installer knows how to install them correctly in accordance with the tested standards.
