I am importing loads from Staad pro Advance connection edition to Hilti profis engineering.
I loads when imported are unreal values
manual from staad pro
Node number 49
Load Combination number 4
Ultimate (1.2D +1.6L) = Fx -1.6 Fy 803.1 Fz -1.6 Mx=My=Mz= Zero (Pinned)
While the values in hilti after import are
FX 7.28 Fy -3,572.53 (this value is not real) Fz 7.43 Mx=My=Mz= Zero
My Question, why the imported Fy value had increased from 803.1 to 3572.53
I could not attach the Staad pro input file for you check up it gave me upload error message
Thank you
Dear sir/madam,
Thanks for your question.
Generally, when you import from a structural software to Hilti profis engineering, same values will be imported. Unless you have selected characteristic load option in profis engineering.
In order to see the issue, can you please share me the file at Muhammad.Usman@hilti.com?
Thanks and regards
Muhammad Usman
Dear sir,
It's difficult to answer since while importing, same reaction values come in profis engineering except the direction which you need to select in profis engineering.
Try it by importing the reactions in excel file and then in profis engineering.
Thanks
