Grouting for the brackets
I need to provide grouting for about 30 mm instead of packing for the brackets .what is the restraint value i need to give. what are the solution to be considered if the steel failed due to the 30 mm grout?

Hi Sukrutha.
Regarding the restraint value, we can refer to the guidance from EN 1992-4 2018 section 6.2.2.3 Shear loads with and without lever arm
Regarding steel failure, multiple adjustments can be considered, increasing steel strength, diameter, number of fasteners including considering reduction of shear loads by any methods.
