Firestop spray
Firestop spray on top of mineral wool safing insulation... What would be the condition of the firestop spray on the floor bracket (will it be entirely covered by firestop spray)? Also what would be the minimum lapping needed of the mineral wool safing insulation?

Hello Doc,
Regarding your question, Hilti CFS SP WB will overlap on the bracket as well, as we need to ensure that the total perimeter of the slab is completely cover to prevent any smoke penetration. The overlap is minimum 13mm and should be done on both concrete wall/floor and curtain wall, with a wet thickness of 3.2mm.
