Firestop Awareness Creation, Compartmentalization

I'm Vadivookarasi Sivakumar, an MBA Student from PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, India. I have a question, its about how to rescue the people if the fire accident happens in crowded region? And how to create awareness to those who are uneducated (those working as a clerk or servant)

Hello Vadivookarasi,

Most buildings have fire protection equipment's such as sprinklers, Hose Reels, Extinguishers etc. along with passive firestop products installed as required by the law, to delay the propagation of fire or smoke from spreading.

The office/facility will also have Fire Marshall's who are trained to evacuate the occupants in the shortest time possible in case of fire.
An "Assembly Point" will be situated outside the building or facility where all occupants should assemble in case of fire.

It is a general practice that all employees working or guests visiting the facility be notified where the Fire Exits are located. There will also be a fire escape plan drawing/ layout located in the common areas.
Emergency & Exit Lights will also guide the occupants to the nearest fire exit in case of fire.

I hope my answer is clear.

Regards
Vivek
