38-mm drill boreholes can be used to anchor M24 Type HAS-V 8.8 anchor rods with Hilti HY-200-A adhesive anchors at a base thickness of 900mm.
Is it possible to anchor the M24 type HAS-U 8.8 anchors in 38mm diameter boreholes instead of 28mm diameter boreholes in the base with the Hilti HY-200-A adhesive anchor,

Dear sir/madam,
Thanks for your question.
The maximum allowed hole diameter for M24 HAS-U (-V) in the base material is 36mm. Upto this diameter we can ensure the ETA values are still valid, but for higher diameters you need to perform pull out test to verify the design resistance.
Hope that's the answer to your question.
Best regards
