How to design concrete fastenings to Eurocode 2

A concise overview of what EN 1992 Part 4 means

This new standard consolidates, updates and replaces older design guidelines and technical reports (e.g. ETAG001, EOTA TR029) for fastener design. It's intended for structural and non-structural applications in concrete and brings all aspects of fastener design together into a single standard. It defines the design and specification rules for cast-in fasteners, post-installed mechanical and bonded fasteners and anchor channels.

HOW TO TURN EUROCODE 2 PART 4 INTO AN OPPORTUNITY

Eurocode

Understand how this code affects application design

As a design method for fastenings used to transmit loads to concrete, Eurocode 2 Part 4 is also a standard for checking the mechanical resistance of fastening components and the stability of base material. This is especially important for structural baseplate, facade, mechanical and electrical support applications.
